Boyfriend Business.

Its mid-June, monsoons are here. Personally I love the rains. It’s like soaking in the joy. But nobody likes getting their feet all muddy and wet. Comfort is my number one priority.
This is when the ‘boyfriend jeans’ come into the picture. These jeans have a very tomboy appeal, roomy silhouette and thus are extremely comfortable.

I choose a pair of light washed denim (which I've rolled up a bit to avoid them from getting gunky and disgusting). I paired a black and white horizontal striped tank. Quick tip: If you are skinny like me go with thick horizontal stripes and if you’re on the healthier side go with thin vertical stripes, it’ll create a desired illusion.

For a pop of color I added a thin red belt. I also wore red pumps with wedge heels. And to pull the look together I wore a dark-navy (almost black) well fitted blazer. I carried a simple black bag with gold hardware.

Floral love.

“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” Miranda Priestley’s catty retort from The Devil wears Prada. So why not wear florals in summer too!
Floral print has been blooming on the runway this year. But out of all the clothing items the floral print looks the best on flowy dresses.

So I choose to wear this beautiful dress which has a black base and the floral print atop is cool toned. I wore solid black heels to add to the feminity of the dress (but flat gladiators too would look killer!).

To accessorize I wore a pair of neon-pink square shaped earrings for that pop of color. Also added a purple (same color family as the dress) beaded bracelet. And I choose to stick to a neutral beige colored sling bag to avoid clashing with the colors.

Awkward facial expressions..
